The Natural Curaçao, is located on the Caribbean island of Curaçao. It is a Clothing Optional mini resort.

Clothing Optional means that you decide whether you want to swim or sunbathe with or without swimwear on the sun beds on one of the terraces by the pool or on the balcony of the accommodations.
So please keep in mind that naturism is limited here. You can only sunbathe naked by pool or on your own balcony. The beaches are not official nude beaches.

The Natural Curaçao is centrally located in one of the most beautiful places in Curaçao. 12 months a year temperatures around 30 degrees Celsius, very little rain and a location outside of hurricane zones make this destination perfect year-round.

The vast views of nature are overwhelming and the twittering of the many birds combined with the rising sun in the morning make you wake up in paradise.

Curaçao forms the Netherlands Antilles along with Aruba, Bonaire and St. Maarten. Curaçao is the largest with an area of 472 square kilometers. At its widest point, Curaçao is 16 kilometers wide. It is an elongated, dry and slightly hilly island. Curaçao’s northern coast is rugged and rocky, with high waves. Along the southern coast are golden beaches, eleven kilometers long in all. The south coast consists of bays and inlets and elongated beaches on the west side. The largest bay, however, is found on the southeast side near Willemstad, the island’s capital and largest port. Curaçao has a population of 150,000. Willemstad is the only city on the island, with 130,000 people.

In the sea around Curacao there are beautiful coral reefs and the number of fish species is very varied. Some unusual fish include the barracuda, a species of pike that can reach two meters in length, and the moray eel, a species of eel that can also reach two meters in length. Sharks are also quite common. However, the water is so nutrient-rich that they pose no danger to humans.

Time difference:
Curaçao does not have summer and winter time, it is 5 hours earlier here than in the Netherlands; when we have daylight saving time it is 6 hours.

Language:
Dutch is the official language of Curaçao, but Papiamento is the most widely spoken. This is a mixture of Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish and Afrikaans.
Many people also speak English.

Currency:
The Antillean guilder is the official currency of the island, it can also be paid with the U.S. dollar, credit card such as visa or mastercard. Withdrawing money; withdrawing with a Dutch bank/giro card or credit card is possible at most banks.

Climate:
The so-called ABC islands, Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao are geographically and climatically on a par, with tropical temperatures, averaging between 28-30°C during the day. The trade winds, characteristic of the Leeward Islands, provide a pleasant, cooling breeze. The islands fall outside the so-called “hurricane belt,” the hurricane zone. The “wet” season, most of the rain falls from June through November. This being said, there can be plenty of sunshine during these months; most of the day is usually sunny, while in the afternoon a brief, heavy downpour can provide refreshment.
