Deluxe Garden
Tucked away among lush tropical flowers and tall coconut palms, the Deluxe Garden rooms are further away from the beach in an airy garden setting. Each room has a furnished private balcony. Located on blocks 2-4, each with its own furnished balcony.
Deluxe Ocean
The Deluxe Ocean rooms feature sliding glass doors that open out to a private furnished balcony and offer partial ocean views. These accommodations are located a short distance from the beach on blocks 5 and 7-9.
Deluxe Beachfront
Located in the heart of the resort and with the closest access to the beach, the Deluxe Beachfront rooms have sliding glass doors to a private furnished balcony with oblique views of the Caribbean. They are located on three floors in blocks 1, 5, 6 and 9.
Garden Suite
Overlooking lush tropical foliage and coconut palms, the spacious Garden Suites are located in blocks 8 and 9. They have sliding glass doors that lead to furnished balconies, as well as comfortable sitting areas and luxurious bathrooms with double sinks, deep baths and separate showers. Enjoy hors d’oeuvres delivered to their suite each evening, as well as in-suite dining.
Beachfront Suite
Located a stone’s throw from the beach, on one of three floors, the spacious Beachfront Suites offer mesmerizing views of the Caribbean from beautifully furnished terraces. These are located in blocks 1,5,6, and 9. In your suite you are welcomed by relaxing sitting areas and luxurious bathrooms with double sinks. You will enjoy nightly hor d’oeuvres delivered to their suite each evening and dinner in the suite.

The island is approx. 235 km. long and avg. 65 km. wide, the surface is approximately 11,400 km2. This is about a quarter of the Netherlands.
In Arawak (Indian) people speak of Xayamaka. This means forest and water.
The Jamaican people are generally very poor and depend on tourism. Here they do everything for hair braiding, driving taxis and selling souvenirs. If you just handle this in a friendly manner, you will not be bothered by this.
Time difference
It is 6 hours earlier in Jamaica than in the Netherlands; when we have daylight saving time: 7 am.
Language
The official language of Jamaica is English, but Jamaican Patios is spoken all over the island.
This is a combination of English and words derived from various West African languages.
Currency
The local currency is the Jamaica Dollar (JMD). You may not import or export the JMD. It is therefore best to take US Dollars with you. You can pay on the spot with this and these can be exchanged for Jamaican dollars, it is more favorable to pay with JMD. Upon arrival, you may be required to state the amount entered.
Euro checks and giro payment cards are not accepted.
In Jamaica you can pay with a cash machine with a CIRRUS code. It is also possible to pay with a Mastercard and Visa.
climate
On the coast, Jamaica has a tropical climate and in the mountains there is a moderate climate.
The island has no clear differences between the seasons. The Jamaicans never speak of summer, winter, fall or spring, but give the seasons other names, such as the mango season (May-July) and the sugar cane season (October-January). In the periods May to July and September to November it can rain heavily, but the showers are usually short-lived. Hurricane season is from August to October, but the last hurricane was in 1988.
