The resort has 150 suites all facing the ocean on the hillside surrounded by the wild vegetation of the island. All rooms have a Kingsize bed, bathroom with marble tiles, air conditioning, ceiling fan, LCD flat screen TV, personal mini-bar, I-pod docking station, hairdryer, coffee maker, kettle, safe, iron and ironing board, bathrobes to use and the possibility to dine in the room.
Deluxe Garden Suites
The Deluxe Garden Suites are located in the hills surrounded by nature. From your private balcony, you will have a true rainforest feel. The bathrooms are Italian porcelain with a touch of luxury. Suites are located in buildings C,D,E and G.
Ocean Suites
The suites exude a fresh coastal style. Generous bedroom, spacious walk-in shower and furnished private balcony overlooking the ocean.
Beachfront Suite
This large, bright beachfront suite has direct views of the resort’s tropical lawn and beach. Spacious bedroom with living area. These suites are located near the main pool and pool bar.
Premier Ocean Suite
These spacious suites are updated in soft pastel colors and woven wicker furniture. The suite features a spacious bedroom, living area and bathroom. From your private balcony, you have a view of the Caribbean Sea.
Penthouse Ocean Suite
The Penthouse Suites, one of our most exclusive accommodations, have the atmosphere of a small apartment. These top floor suites have mesmerizing views of the Caribbean Sea from a large private balcony and are located on top of a hill overlooking the ocean. Each suite is named after a famous guest who visited Couples San Souci.

– Palazinna: Breakfast and lunches in buffet style, for dinner you can enjoy Mediterranean food here only with a reservation between 6.30 pm – 9.30 pm, closed on Friday for dinner.
– Bella Vista: Authentic Jamaican restaurant on the beach with musical accompaniment by a traditional Mento Band from 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm, closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
– The Beach Grill: Serves gourmet burgers and grilled specialties on the day from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and evenings from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
Ristorante Casnova: Here you get a la Carte diner’s and you can sit inside or outside. It’s a mix of different traditional styles mixed with tropical Jamaican and Caribbean ingredients. A dress code applies and it is only on reservation. Closed on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Veggie Bar: Open from 11 am-6pm daily you will find fresh juice, fruit smoothies, vegetarian dips and delicious healthy salads and sandwiches here.
In-Suite dining: Open daily from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm.
The Starlight Gala is held every Friday from 7:30 PM and a Beach Party BBQ is held every Tuesday from 7:00 PM.
Entertainment:
The best musicians and singers from Jamaica will keep you entertained during your stay with a variety of acts including live music, shows, musicians walking around and a weekly beach party.

Free Internet on a computer or WIFI is available.
Honey package available. If you want to get married, this can also be arranged, you pay for the wedding license and marriage certificates.
Transfer is included in the price. Through the hotel reception you can book various excursions to see the country. If you prefer to explore the country on your own, you can book a rental car through us. We mediate for Sunny Cars which, in addition to good cars, also has the best insurance.

The island is approx. 235 km. long and avg. 65 km. wide, the surface is approximately 11,400 km2. This is about a quarter of the Netherlands.
In Arawak (Indian) people speak of Xayamaka. This means forest and water.
The Jamaican people are generally very poor and depend on tourism. Here they do everything for hair braiding, driving taxis and selling souvenirs. If you just handle this in a friendly manner, you will not be bothered by this.
Time difference
It is 6 hours earlier in Jamaica than in the Netherlands; when we have daylight saving time: 7 am.
Language
The official language of Jamaica is English, but Jamaican Patios is spoken all over the island.
This is a combination of English and words derived from various West African languages.
Currency
The local currency is the Jamaica Dollar (JMD). You may not import or export the JMD. It is therefore best to take US Dollars with you. You can pay on the spot with this and these can be exchanged for Jamaican dollars, it is more favorable to pay with JMD. Upon arrival, you may be required to state the amount entered.
Euro checks and giro payment cards are not accepted.
In Jamaica you can pay with a cash machine with a CIRRUS code. It is also possible to pay with a Mastercard and Visa.
climate
On the coast, Jamaica has a tropical climate and in the mountains there is a moderate climate.
The island has no clear differences between the seasons. The Jamaicans never speak of summer, winter, fall or spring, but give the seasons other names, such as the mango season (May-July) and the sugar cane season (October-January). In the periods May to July and September to November it can rain heavily, but the showers are usually short-lived. Hurricane season is from August to October, but the last hurricane was in 1988.

We had a very good time at Sans Souci Jamaica. It is a beautiful hotel with very good food. We still had a sea view room at the top of the hotel with a nice view. It is true that it is 80 90% percent visited by Americans and Canadians a few English but no Europeans .
