Relax on the beach or in the shade of the cypresses in the park. Cypress Cove has been around since 1964 and has visitors from all over the world.
Cypress Cove is located in Kissimmee in the heart of Florida, 17 miles from Orlando Airport. The rooms are spread over 5 buildings. The camping site, recreation area and swimming pools are all around it.
Kissimmee is a nice town for shopping. In the vicinity of this town are mainly plantations with orange trees.
You need a special plug for your electrical appliances. Mains voltage 110 volts. You must apply for your electronic visa through the ESTA program on the internet, this is for a fee. Your passport must be valid for another 6 months after arrival in the Netherlands. A stay at Cypress Cove is easy to combine with the February 2015 or 2016 cruise.
Both the motel rooms and the villa apartment have air conditioning and are cleaned daily. The bed linen is changed every 4th day in the villa apartments.

Plane:
The flight from Amsterdam to Orlando takes approximately 10 hours and 15 minutes. Several airlines fly daily from Amsterdam there away. Continental airlines, United airlines or KLM fly there, but always with a transfer in the USA. TuiFly flies to Orlando Sandford, on the return journey you have a layover in Miami. From Orlando Sandford, it is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes’ drive to Cypress Cove. If you fly to Orlando International Airport, it is approximately 45 minutes.
Car hire :

Florida, the holiday destination in the southeast of the United States, has a magical appeal. This is not only due to the climate, but also to the numerous tourist attractions it offers. Amusement parks, Kennedy Space Center and of course the Florida Keys with the vast swamp area ‘the Everglades’.
Time difference:
It is 6 hours earlier in Florida than in the Netherlands; when we have daylight saving time it is 7 o’clock.
Language:
In America the official language is English. American sometimes differs from the English spoken in England.
In Florida, a lot of Spanish is also spoken by the population.
Currency:
The official currency is the US dollar. If you want to take money with you from the Netherlands, it is wise to bring travel checks in dollars.
It is also certainly useful to bring a credit card. A lot is paid with this and sometimes it is even mandatory to pay with it. BV You cannot pay in cash at petrol pumps.
Climate:
Florida has a subtropical / tropical climate, with a warm, somewhat humid summer and a slightly less warm mild winter.
