The location is exceptional and would be called “impressive” by many. The hotel is located on a peninsula overlooking the Libyan Sea.
The 25m long hotel swimming pool is the focal point of this naturist holiday resort and the “pitting place” for most guests.
The nudist beach of Fylakì is barely a 15min walk (700m) from the main hotel building, and is easily accessible. Many hotel guests enjoy the route, which runs through a typical Cretan landscape, with sheep and goats for company. There is also the bus (free of charge) to and from the beach, which departs from the main hotel building.
All rooms are equipped with telephone, mini fridge, radio (centrally controlled), satellite TV, hairdryer, Internet access and air conditioning. No coffee and tea options!
All rooms received new mattresses in 2013. Toppers are available on request for a double bed. In the bungalows, the toppers are available on a double bed. No topper is possible on the single beds. In 2014 all bathrooms were renovated.

First floor, 2 x single bed and a double bed, bathroom with shower/bath and toilet, 1 terrace. Due to its location, this pavilion has more privacy. Can only be booked on request. Has 2-3 terraces.
Family room / 45 m² / 2-5 people.
In the main building, 2 rooms with 2 beds and 1 bathroom with shower, sink and toilet and a small hallway. Both rooms have a small balcony.
Hidden Ladies / 45 m² / 1-2 people.
Hotel Vritomartis will have 4 new Suites they call the Hidden Ladies by the end of 2021. These are very special homes, each with its own parking space for the car, its own outdoor shower and private jacuzzi. Each Suite is equipped with a large hand-made bed with COCO-MAT mattresses, a private bathroom with walk-in shower, toilet and sink, hair dryer and luxury toiletries, and there is a private outside terrace with sunbeds and parasol. The living room has high-end and handmade furniture, Flat screen TV with multiple channels, air conditioning, mini-bar and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator and coffee maker. There is a large closet, safe, telephone, good WIFI connection and a dining room.
There are 4 Hidden Ladies, the price is per Suite per night for a maximum of 2 people based on half board, there are no offers for the Suites:
1. Sofia with partial sea view €360.
2. Eleni with partial sea view €360.
3. Katerina with sea view € 420.
4. Eleftheria with a good sea view € 460-
You may use all facilities of Hotel Vritomartis.

The island offers a variety of landscapes to enjoy. Crete has a number of high mountains that are covered with snow for much of the year. A gorge that has now been designated as an important nature reserve is the “Samaria Gorge”, the largest gorge in Crete: about 18 km long.
Crete is an island with beautiful beaches, hiking trails and a rich history, which makes the island a great museum and an Eldorado for archaeologists. One of the oldest civilizations is the Minoan with, among others, the palace of Knossos and Phaestos.
The hotel is located at Chora Sfakion. At the harbor you will find, in addition to various terraces, the necessary souvenir shops. A boat also sails from here to the Samaria Gorge.
Toilet system:
Because the drainage pipes in Greece are much too narrow, toilet paper, waste, sanitary facilities, etc. must be deposited in the trash. If you do throw these things in the toilet, blockages can occur in the system.
Language:
New Greek is the official language in Crete. English is also understandable on this island. The Cretans appreciate it if you address them in their own language.
Currency:
Greece is part of the European Union and you can also pay with the Euro here.
Almost all cards for debit cards are accepted. Credit cards are also accepted.
Climate:
Crete has a Mediterranean climate. The island offers you a long and warm summer, where the sea is cool, but not too cold for diving. The sun shines all year round. The south coast usually has a cooling breeze.
