Valalta is one of the three naturist centers in Croatia we offer on approximately 6 km. from Rovinj, a former Venetian port.
Valalta is one of the oldest villages for naturists and has a coastline of 5 km. This coastline has mostly pebble beaches with rocks. Valalta is located on the deep of Limfjord from 12 km length and is ideal for sunbathing and swimming. It is advisable to take water shoes, in connection with the rocky and the possible sea urchins which you can find there. One of the great attractions of Valalta is the large pool with around the pool charming shops, a health center with massage and a bar.
Valalta is what concerns homes divided into 3 areas. Accommodations with a “V” before are standing in the area “Valalta” located towards the sea behind the center with restaurants. The homes here are often placed in courts. Properties with an “L” before and the S-houses are located in the area “Lavri”, which is next to the swimming area and is located closer to the sea. The homes here are often placed in rows. The 3rd area includes mobile homes and these lie behind the Valalta area and an area next to the harbor, against the mountain. All accommodations are equipped with duvets, 2 sunbeds, Sat. TV and have a private covered parking (with mobile homes directly at the house, outdoor).

Valalta is located in Istria, a part of Croatia. Between Rovinj and Vrsar is a fjord called the Limfjord where Valalta on lies. It lies on the edge of Rovinj, approximately 6 kilometers from Valalta. Rovinj is a traditional Venetian port. Italian influences are clearly recognizable.
Besides the language Croatian can the people in the touristic areas speak Englisch, German or Italian. Along the coast is spoken with a dialect similar to the Venetian. The Croatian language is of Slavic language family.
The official currency is the Croatian kuna (kuna = 100 lipa’s). Most shops also accept euros.
Foreign currency can be exchanged in banks, exchange bureaus, post offices and the most tourist agencies, hotels and campings.
In larger places you can pay mostly with Travellercheques and credit cards. Also ‘pin’ is possible in the larger towns. Always keep enough cash. In some areas are banks and post offices scarce.
Croatia is a sunny country. The sun is shining about 2500 hours per year and the average temperature in the summer is 23 °C degrees. In Croatia there are two climate zones; in the inland predominate a continental climate, partly also a mountain climate. In the interior are the winters harsh and rainy and the summers are hot and dry. In the mountains falls a lot of rain and snow.
