During the day you can sunbathe and swim and you will be spoiled by the crew with Croatian food. In the evening you can walk on the boulevards view of romantic harbor towns and sights.

MS Silva
This sailing ship is a motor sailboat 28 meter long and 8 meter wide. There may be up 28 persons on board. The cabins have 2 or 3 beds (bunks) and a sink with cold running water. There are 4 douches met toilet en 1 separate toilet. There is limited 220 Volt available for your mobile phone, video / camera etc. to charge and to shave. There is a galley on the main deck where you can relax, a dining area and a kitchen. There are 2 kayaks that guests may use. You can disembark jump off into the water for swimming and diving. Up on the deck is a good place in the sun with a cool breeze. Care is 6 days full board and 1 day half board. The drinks are not included in the price and you should spot to deal with the captain at the end of the trip.

MY Vjeko
De My Vjeko uit 2009 is navigated by the son of the captain of the MS Silva and a more luxurious version of the MS Silva. De MY Vjeko is 30 meter long and 7,3 meter wide. There are 9 cabins, 3 2-bed and extra bed, 4 with double bed, 2 with 2 single beds. All cabins have showers, toilet en airco. There is a sun deck with chairs and shower, The bar has air conditioning and TV (Croatian). It includes breakfast and lunch. The crew consists of the captain, a cook and 2 Sailors.

Facilities & Relaxation:

By car:
From Utrecht is it approximately 1700 kilometer drive to Omis. You can drive your own car to Omis. Omiš is parking, here you will pay approximately € 30 per week for your car. This parking lot is 500 meter van de haven.

Flight:
It is about 2 hours to fly to Croatia. We mediate for Croatia Airlines and Transavia. It is possible to fly by plane to Split to board the MS Silva or MY Vjeko in Split and Trogir, then you miss half a day sail. Flight- and transfer prices are available on request.

Extra information:
If you come by car: On the Austrian and Slovenian highways is it required to have a Autobahnvignet. This Austrian vignette is available in Austria at all highway crossings and in the Netherlands from the ANWB. The Slovenian vignette is available at the border.

Croatia lies on the Adriatic Sea and is bordered in the north by Slovenia and Hungary, on the east by Serbia and Montenegro and in the south to Bosnia-Herzegovina. Across the sea is Italy. The surface of ​​Croatia is 56.542 km². This is approximately as big as Belgium and the Netherlands together.

Sights: Dubrovnik is an old port city in Dalmatia which is known for its monuments, impressive city walls and welcoming atmosphere. The island of Hvar has a long tradition of art and culture, owns one of the oldest theaters in Europe and has lovely lavender fields. Language:

Currency:
The official currency is the Croatian kuna (kuna = 100 lipa’s). Most shops also accept euros.
Foreign currency can be exchanged in banks, exchange bureaus, post offices and the most tourist agencies, hotels and campings.
In larger places you can pay mostly with Travellercheques and credit cards. Also ‘pin’ is possible in the larger towns. Always keep enough cash. In some areas are banks and post offices scarce.

Climate:
Croatia is a sunny country. The sun is shining about 2500 hours per year and the average temperature in the summer is 23 °C degrees. In Croatia there are two climate zones; in the inland predominate a continental climate, partly also a mountain climate. In the interior are the winters harsh and rainy and the summers are hot and dry. In the mountains falls a lot of rain and snow. The area along the Adriatic coast has a pleasant Mediterranean climate with many hours of sunshine, hot, dry summers and mild and wet winters.
