The MS Silva is a sailing vessel that sails along the Dalmatian islands. The trips are completely naturist in the untouched nature of Croatia.

During the day you can sunbathe and swim and you will be spoiled with Croatian food by the crew. In the evening you can stroll along the boulevards of romantic harbor towns and see sights.

MS Silva
This sailing vessel is a motor sailer 28 meters long and 8 meters wide. A maximum of 28 people can board. The cabins have 2 or 3 beds (bunk beds) and a sink with cold running water. There are 4 showers with toilet and 1 separate toilet. There is limited 220 volts available for charging your cell phone, video/photo camera, etc. and for shaving. There is a galley on the main deck where you can relax, a dining area and a kitchen. There are 2 kayaks for guests to use. You can jump off board into the water for swimming and diving. Up on the deck, it is good to stay in the sun with a cool breeze. The care is 6 days on full board basis and 1 day on half board basis. Drinks are not included in the price and you must pay for them on the spot with the captain at the end of the trip.

Route 1 (July 8 to 15, 2023):
Krilo – Milna (island of Brač) – Vis (island of Vis) – Bay/Anchor – Sučuraj (island of Hvar) – Jelsa (island of Hvar) – Zlatni rat – Sumartin (island of Brač) – Pučišča (island of Brač)* – Krilo.

Route 2 (July 15-22, 2023):
Krilo – Jelsa (island of Hvar) – Trapanj – Lovište/Račišče – Vela Luka (island of Korčula) – Bay/Anchor – Stomorska (island of Šolta) – Postira (island of Brač)* – Krilo.

* Weather and conditions permitting, you will stay the last night on the island of Brač.

Facilities & Relaxation:
The following can be purchased: Mineral water, beer, wine, lemonade, cola, juice, tea, coffee, kileur, other alcoholic beverages. You put the bill on your room number and pay everything at the end of the sailing.

MS Silva
There are 2 kayaks for guests to use. You can jump off board into the water for swimming and diving. Up on the deck, it is good to stay in the sun with a cool breeze.

Breakfast: 8 a.m.
Lunch: around 12:30 p.m.
Dinner: 7 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Between 08:30 – 11:00: sailing to the next destination.
By 4:30 p.m. departure for next port.

By own car:
From Utrecht, it is about a 1700 kilometer drive to Omiš. You can drive to Omiš by your own car. Parking is available in Omiš; you will pay around €80 per week for your car here. This parking lot is 500 meters from the port.

Flight information:
It is approximately a 2-hour flight to Croatia. We mediate for Transavia. It is possible to fly to Split by plane.

Extra information:
If you come by car: It is mandatory to have an Autobahn vignette on the Austrian and Slovenian motorways. This Austrian vignette is available in Austria at all motorway border crossings and in the Netherlands at the ANWB. The Slovenian vignette is available at the border.

Croatia is located on the Adriatic Sea and borders Slovenia and Hungary to the north, Serbia and Montenegro to the east and Bosnia-Herzegovina to the south. Italy is located on the other side of the sea. The surface of Croatia is 56,542 km². This is about the same size as Belgium and the Netherlands combined.

Croatia has about 4.4 million inhabitants. The Croats are a very hospitable people. The modesty coupled with their great hospitality makes a tourist feel at home in this beautiful country. But besides being hospitable, friendly and helpful, Croats are above all a very proud people.

Sights:
Dubrovnik is an ancient port city in Dalmatia which is known for its monuments, impressive city walls and welcoming atmosphere. The island of Hvar has a long tradition of art and culture, owns one of the oldest theaters in Europe and has beautiful lavender fields. Sčedro has an average of 30 people living on the island in the summer, and the 2 protected bays give a beautiful view of the sea.

Language:
In addition to Croatian, English, German or Italian will serve you well in tourist areas. Along the coast, a dialect similar to Venetian is spoken. Croatian language belongs to Slavic language family.

Currency:
The official currency of Croatia is the kuna (kuna = 100 lipas). Most stores also accept euros. From Jan. 1, 2023, the euro will be introduced in Croatia and you can simply pay with euros everywhere.
Foreign currency can be exchanged at banks, exchange offices, post offices and most travel agencies, hotels and campgrounds.
In larger towns you can go almost everywhere with Traveler Checks and credit cards. You can also ‘pin’ in the larger places. Always have enough cash. In some areas, banks and post offices are scarce.

Climate:
Croatia is a sunny country. The sun shines for about 2500 hours a year and the average temperature in summer is 23 ° C. There are two climate zones in Croatia; in the interior a continental climate predominates, partly also mountain climate. Inland, winters are harsh and wet and summers hot and dry. There is a lot of rain and snow in the mountains. The area along the Adriatic coast has a pleasant Mediterranean climate with many hours of sunshine, dry warm summers and mild wet winters.
