The small-scale Lavinia Naturist Resort is located near Alicante in Spain about a 15-minute drive from the airport. It is a naturist destination with four detached villas that opened its doors in June 2019. The resort is located on a hill from where you have a beautiful view of the city of Alicante, the surrounding mountains and the sea. Behind the resort is a vast hiking area where you can walk naked for hours without meeting anyone. There are two saltwater pools. You can enjoy the tranquility from the sunbeds on the sun terraces. The Mediterranean garden offers a colorful variety of the flowers, plants and trees. The grounds are less suitable for guests with mobility issues.
The Belgian hosts Wim and Annemie are Dutch speakers and with their personal attention they give you a warm home-feeling from the moment you enter the resort. Lavinia Naturist Resort is a destination where the sun shines 320 days a year, making it ideal for year-round naturist vacations.
Behind the resort is a nature preserve of up to 500,000 square meters where you can hike naked in the rocky mountains for hours, entering immediately through the back gate of the property. Due to its exceptional location on the Costa Calida, there is a micro-climate, which allows you to recreate naked all year round. Because there are 320 sunny days per year-that is, days when the sun shines for a minimum of 6 hours-the temperatures often reach 20 degrees in the shade even in winter. Besides, it stays light almost an hour longer at night here.

In Lavinia Naturist Resort there are 4 different villas and 1 penthouse: Villa Melodia, Villa Aroma, Villa Mirada, Villa Gusto and Penthouse Sensación. Linen is included, as are towels, beach towels, hamam towels, bathrobes and shower products.
Villa Melodia / approximately 80 m2 / 2-4 people
This villa is the lowest and has by far the most privacy. With an area of about 80 m², it has the possibility to expand to 6 people (with sofa bed).
There is a fully equipped kitchen in the turret of the villa, with a stove, refrigerator (with freezer), dishwasher, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. In the living room there is a sitting area with TV. The dining area is located in the cozy covered patio (quasi fully open with large sliding windows). There are two bedrooms with double beds of 200 cm length. One bed is divisible into two box springs 90 cm wide, the other is a 160 cm double bed and cannot be pushed apart. There are two bathrooms with hairdryer and shower products.
On the spacious terrace, sunk into the garden, you can enjoy on the sunbeds or at the terrace table under a parasol.
Villa Aroma / approximately 40 m2 / 1-2 people
This villa is the smallest house, and is right by the pool above. There is room for 2 people and has a cozy cozy atmosphere.
There is a small equipped kitchen, with a stove, refrigerator (with freezer), oven, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The living room has a sitting area with TV, and a dining area overlooking the city and the covered terrace. There is one double bedroom with a double bed of 200 cm length. The bed can be split into two single beds 90 cm wide. There is a fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer and shower products.
On the covered terrace you have the necessary privacy, but you can also sunbathe on your own terrace or at the pool next to your cottage.
Villa Mirada / approximately 55 m2 / 2-4 people
This villa is the highest located, right against the mountain and nature preserve behind the resort. It is close to the heated pool (off-season only). There is room for 4 people.
There is a small equipped kitchen, with a stove, refrigerator (with freezer), oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. The living room has a cozy sitting area with TV, and a dining area overlooking the covered terrace and pool. There are two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom, with a double bed of 200 cm length. The bed can be split into two single beds 90 cm wide. Because the other bedroom is less spacious, there is a bed 140 cm wide. There is an additional fully equipped bathroom with hairdryer and shower products.
On the very spacious covered terrace you have a lot of privacy, but you can also sunbathe on your own terrace or by the pool.
Villa Gusto / approximately 80 m2 / 2-4 people
This villa is close to the common terrace and overlooks a patch of Mediterranean garden, the town and the mountains in the distance. There is room for 2 to 4 people.
There is a spacious equipped kitchen, with a stove, refrigerator (with freezer), oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and coffee maker. In the living room there is a cozy sitting area with TV, and a dining area. There are two bedrooms, one with ensuite bathroom. The ensuite bedroom is equipped with a 2-person box spring of 180×200 cm. The bed can be split into two single beds 90 cm wide. The second bedroom with a double box spring 160×200 cm. The bed can be split into two single beds 80 cm wide. Right next to that bedroom is a small bathroom with toilet and sink. This bedroom is connected to the living area by a spacious covered patio screened by large sliding windows, where you can enjoy the beautiful view.
Penthouse Sensación / approximately 45 m2 / 1-2 people
You truly imagine yourself in the backdrop of the mountains as you enjoy your cup of coffee at breakfast at the kitchen table. You can see how the sun casts its changing light on the mountain peaks. When you wake up in the morning and pull up the shutters, the bright blue pool and beautifully landscaped garden beckon you out. The kitchen is fully equipped with a spacious refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, combination microwave, toaster, Dolce Gusto machine and kettle. The bedroom has a 2-meter-long comfortable box-spring bed. A pleasant sitting area, TV with chromecast and excellent internet connection and a completely private rooftop terrace.
Accommodation in the villas is on a lodging basis, with possibility of additional services such as breakfast service, live cooking, filled refrigerator on arrival and grocery shopping service. Free Wifi and free air conditioning are available.

By car:
If you drive via Barcelona, Lavinia Resort is approximately 2030 km from Utrecht.
To get to Lavinia Resort, you have to drive through France. The roads in France are of good quality. On the highways it is regularly indicated where the nearest petrol stations / restaurant, picnic areas are. Please note that you have to pay toll on the French motorways. You can pay by credit card or cash at the toll gates.
Furthermore, you must be in possession of International Insurance Certificates or the green card if you are going with your own car. In France it is mandatory to have an alcohol tester in the car.
A Dutch driving license is sufficient, so an international driving license is not necessary.
By plane:
It is about 2 hours and 40 minutes flying time to Alicante from Amsterdam. We can book flights for you. We mediate for Transavia & Easyjet from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, Eindhoven Airport and Rotterdam/The Hague Airport. Departure from Germany & Belgium is also possible.
We advise you to rent a car if you want to see something of the area. We mediate for Flexible Cars and Sunny Cars.

Transfer:
Should you require transfer, we can arrange it for you. Transfer is provided by Lavinia Resort’s own shuttle service. It is 21 kilometers to the airport, about a 15-minute drive.

Arrival/departure day: You can arrive and depart every day. (Thursday not possible).

Summers are hot, winters are mild and mostly dry, which means that many spend the winter on the Costa Blanca.
Specialties:
Of course, fish and seafood are often on the menu here. Tasty fish, including on the grill, include dorado and sardines.
Language :
Spanish is the official language, but Catalan is also spoken by the population. Sometimes they speak ( a little ) English there.
Currency:
Spain is a member of the European Union. As a result, the official means of payment is the Euro. You can withdraw money with almost any debit card and most credit cards are also accepted.
Climate:
The Costa Blanca is known for its dry, mild winters, making it very popular with winter visitors. Summers it can get quite hot here ca 40° C, but there is almost always a cool sea breeze

What did that bring us. First and foremost, is the kindness and warmth that Wim and Annemie gave us. Annemie your cooking skills are phenomenal. Pre-dinner drinks together on the terrace with magnificent views. Usually Wim would bring us a delicious breakfast with bread baked by Annemie herself. And in the afternoon, Wim brought an ice cream. Also, Wim would then chat and provide us with advice as to places to visit in the area. And what beautiful places there are! There was room for conversation; we really liked those conversations. That that openness was there is special. The location of this place allows you to completely unwind. Two wonderful people, who built something so beautiful at a time when not everything was slated. Respect and admiration for the vigor and zest for life. We had a wonderful time here for 3 weeks and if it is granted to us, we would love to come back here again.
