Jardim Do Eden is a naturist B&B with 3 cozy guest rooms located in central Portugal. A green oasis of peace, situated between olive trees, cork oaks and fruit trees in the picturesque Ansião, where time has stood still for about 50 years. The tranquility and pleasant surroundings are ideal for really relaxing.

There are 2 rooms on the 1st floor and 1 on the ground floor.
All accommodations include bed linen and towels. Also towels for the pool, so this location is easy to travel with only hand luggage. Each room has a hairdryer. Check-in time is from 2 PM and check-out is at 10 AM.
Room Figueira / 1-2 persons
Room with a double bed. Bathroom with bath, toilet, bidet and washbasin. This room is on the ground floor. Beds have a mattress that is neither too hard nor too soft. There is a large closet space, TV with Portuguese and English channels.
Room Oliveira / 1-2 persons
Room with a double bed. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. This room is on the 1st floor. Beds have a mattress that is neither too hard nor too soft. There is a large closet space, TV with Portuguese and English channels.
Room Sobreiro / 1-2 persons
Room with a double bed. Bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. This room is on the 1st floor. Beds have a mattress that is neither too hard nor too soft. There is a large closet space, TV with Portuguese and English channels. This room is the largest and has a nice seat in the room.

Breakfast is included, extensive breakfast buffet. On request it is possible to eat with us on the 1st day for a fee. On Wednesdays, Frank and Tania take guests to a local restaurant.

– Cool boxes can be borrowed for shopping or to go to the beach
By car:
Jardim do Eden is approximately 2090 km from Utrecht.
A car (or rental car) is a good way to travel around Portugal and useful if you want to visit slightly remote places. The roads in Portugal are of good quality. On the highways it is regularly indicated where the nearest petrol stations / restaurant, picnic areas are. Please note that you have to pay toll on the French, Spanish and Portuguese highways if you go with your own car. You can pay by credit card or cash at the toll gates.
Furthermore, you must be in possession of International Insurance Certificates or the green card if you are going with your own car.
A Dutch driving license is sufficient, so an international driving license is not necessary.
With the plane:
About 3 hours to Porto or Lisbon. It is approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes by car from Porto or Lisbon. We mediate for Transavia, TAP and Ryanair, among others. We recommend renting a car to see more of the area. If you want to go to the beach, you definitely need a rental car.

Portugal is a popular holiday destination for the Dutch, but not much is possible in terms of naturism. Jardim do Eden is located in Central Portugal, above Lisbon. It is located between Lisbon and Porto, inland, above the Tagus River. It is approximately half an hour from the student city of Coimbra.
It is 1 hour earlier in Portugal than in the Netherlands.
Portuguese cuisine:
Portuguese cuisine is somewhat similar to Spanish cuisine. The most famous sweet dish from Portugal is Pastel de Belém, this is a kind of pastry with pudding and you really have to try it! Many fish and shellfish can be found in Portuguese cuisine.
Language:
The vast majority of the population speaks Portuguese, including several dialects. Portuguese is a Roman world language and outside of Portugal it is also spoken in Brazil, Angola, Guinea-Bissau, Sao Tomé and Principe, East Timor, Cape Verde, Mozambique, and other areas such as Goa and Malacca (Cristao). It is also spoken by a minority in Macau, where it is an official language.
Currency:
Portugal is part of the European Union and you can also pay here with the Euro.
Almost all cards for debit cards are accepted. Credit cards are also accepted.
Climate:
The city of Coimbra has a moderate maritime climate and in terms of climate is most influenced by the Atlantic Ocean, so there are few extremes. The temperature will rarely go below 3 degrees Celsius or above 35 degrees Celsius. This pleasant climate makes it pleasant to stay here all year round.
