The Sabina region is still unspoiled, rural and with lots of natural beauty. It is a uniquely situated house, with breathtaking views and lots of privacy. The possibility of day trips to Rome gives the house an extra dimension.
Villa Sabina is located in the natural area surrounding the little river Farfa. Yet it is not far from the village of Castelnuovo di Farfa (1.5 km), with a medieval center of narrow streets and gates (the borgo). The town has an artistic Olive Oil Museum, as the center of the Sabina’s famous olive culture.
The accommodation has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, 4 terraces of which 2 are covered and private pool with panoramic views. You can also use 2 mountain bikes. Villa Sabina has solar panels for all the electricity consumed. They also have their own charging station for electric cars. There is no additional charge for this.
A guidebook is available on site with detailed information about the house and its surroundings.
An Italian family lives in the nearby village and provides reception and support (pool and garden maintenance).
The rental price of Villa Sabina varies by season: below is indicated by period. A week’s rental runs from Saturday afternoon to Saturday morning. In low season this can be further agreed upon.
Private home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 4 terraces including 2 covered and an outdoor pool. Here you can have a wonderful naturist time. You are only asked to keep your clothes on when someone comes by for pool or maintenance. You will always hear in advance when this is.
In 2024, the vacation home is only available from June 1-15 and September 28-October 20 for € 1690.00 per week and from June 29-July 13 for € 2250.00 per week.
Prices listed include: bath and bed linens, firewood, gas for heating, detergent and dishwasher tablets. But the price does not include € 300.00 deposit (will be returned afterwards upon correct occupancy) and € 100.00 cleaning fee.

By car:
Villa Sabina is approximately 1595 km drive from Utrecht.
A car is a great way to travel around Italy and convenient if you want to visit slightly remote places. The roads in Italy are of good quality. On the highways it is regularly indicated where the nearest petrol stations / restaurant, picnic areas are. Please note that you have to pay toll on the Italian motorways. You can pay by credit card or cash at the toll gates.
Furthermore, you must be in possession of International Insurance Certificates or the green card if you are going with your own car.
A Dutch driving license is sufficient, so an international driving license is not necessary.
With the plane:
We mediate for several airlines. A flight to Rome takes about 2 hours and 5 minutes.

Italian cuisine
Italian cuisine is known all over the world. Numerous Italian dishes are also fully established in the Netherlands: pizza, macaroni, spaghetti, lasagna and tiramisu. Italian cuisine is quite simple. Only a limited number of ingredients are used and the preparation of the dishes is not complicated.
Language
The vast majority of the population speaks Italian, including several dialects. Italian comes from Latin (the language the Romans spoke).

Italy is part of the European Union and you can also pay with the Euro here.Virtually all cards to use for debit cards are accepted. Credit cards are also accepted.
climate
It differs per area, but in general the climate in Italy is; a typical Mediterranean climate. Throughout the year, the temperature in the lowlands remains well above zero degrees Celsius. In summer there is an average temperature of 28 C in the south and 22 C in the north.
