La Tuquette is located between Provence and the Côte d’Azur near Fayence, a typical southern French village.

La Tuquette’s grounds are 3 hecatres. You can take beautiful walks in the immediate vicinity of the campground. Unfortunately, this cannot be done bare. At this campground you will find 2 heated swimming pools with a terrace for sunbathing. At the restaurant and bar you can enjoy snacks and drinks. In high season there is entertainment, such as music nights, bbq night or Paella night. Your children will not be bored either, there is a playground and children’s water play area.
La Tuquette was founded in 2003 by French couple Christiane and Robert. Their children with partners, Brice, Caroline and Arnaud have since taken over.
It is a cozy little family campground. La Tuquette also offers many opportunities for excursions.

Mobilhomes:
The mobile homes are for 2-6 people and divided into Premium Cottage and Premium Cottage de Luxe. These are equipped with a living room with a fully equipped kitchen for the number of people that can use it. There are hot plates (gas or electric), large refrigerator with freezer, combination microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker and some have an extractor hood. Dining table with chairs and TV in the living room. The mobile homes have 2 bedrooms with beds; a double bed 160×200 and 2 x single beds of 90×200 cm. The Cottage de Luxe has an extra bedroom, a washer and dryer. The bathrooms have a shower and sink and toilet or there is a separate toilet. They all have a terrace, wooden and partially covered, with sunbeds and garden furniture. There is air conditioning. Each bedroom is equipped with comforters, pillows and hangers. Convector heaters in all rooms and blackout curtains with mosquito nets.
Cottage:
Downstairs: Spacious cottage 2/4 people, 36 m², ideal for couples or small families. Living room with dining area – table and 4 chairs, sofa bed 140×190 for 2 people. Separate bedroom with two 90×190 beds, closets and night lights. The cottage is equipped with blankets, quilts, pillows and coat hangers. Open kitchen: refrigerator, 4 gas hobs, microwave, coffee maker, pressure cooker, complete dinnerware for 6.
Large bathroom with shower and sink. Separate WC. Covered terrace of 12 m² with table, 4 chairs, 2 sunbeds and a parasol.

Pretty basic without air conditioning. Chalet sleeps 5, 25 m², ideal for large families. Living room with dining area – table and 4 chairs. Fitted kitchen with American bar: refrigerator, 2 gas hobs, microwave, coffee maker, pressure cooker, complete dinnerware for 6. Master bedroom with 140×200 double bed, closet and night lights. Second bedroom with 3 beds: one bed 80×180 and 2 bunk beds 80×180, closet and night lights. The bedrooms are equipped with blankets, comforters, pillows and hangers. Bathroom with shower, sink and WC. Covered terrace of 10 m² with table, 4 chairs, 2 sunbeds and a parasol.
Cosy Lodge:
Ecolodge, kind of a safari tent 4/6 people, 35 m2, ideal for large families. Living room with dining area – table and 6 chairs, sofa bed 140×190 for 2 people. Open kitchen: refrigerator, 2 electric hobs, microwave, coffee maker, pressure cooker, complete dinnerware for 6. Master bedroom with a double bed of 140×190. Second bedroom with two single beds 70×180. The bedrooms are equipped with blankets, comforters and pillows. Large bathroom with shower, sink and WC. Terrace of 15m² with garden furniture for 6 people. Year built: 2015.

By car:
La Tuquette is about 1312 km away from Utrecht.
A car is a good way to travel around France and useful if you want to visit slightly remote places. The roads in France are of good quality. On the highways it is regularly indicated where the nearest petrol stations / restaurant, picnic areas are. Please note that you have to pay toll on the French motorways. You can pay by credit card or cash at the toll gates. Furthermore, you must be in possession of International Insurance Certificates or the green card if you are going with your own car. In France it is mandatory to have an alcohol tester in the car. A Dutch driving license is sufficient, so an international driving license is not necessary.
By bus:
You can also choose to take the bus. This goes through the Eurolines bus company. You then board at the nearest departure stop / meeting point. From here you will go directly to the Nice destination and there you need to take a rental car, cab or bus or train to your final destination.
By plane:
There are options to fly to Nice from Amsterdam or Düsseldorf, which is about a 2-hour flight.

La Tuquette is located in Provence. Provence is an area in southeastern France bordering Italy. The capital of Provence is Marseille. Also found in Provence are the major cities of Nice, Avignon and Toulon.
The cities of Nice, Monaco, Saint-Tropez, Mougins, Monaco, Cannes and the perfume city of Grasse are within driving distance of La Tuquette and well worth a visit!
Language :
The official language in France is French. Each region speaks its own dialect. In the tourist area you can go as a tourist with English.
Currency:
Just like in the Netherlands, people in France pay with the Euro. You can go to most banks with credit cards and Traveler’s checks. With a Dutch bank or giro debit card which has a maestro or cirrus sign, you can go to the ATMs. American Express, Diners Club, Via, Master and Eurocard passes are accepted in almost all restaurants, shops and petrol stations.
Climate:
Located in the south of France, Provence has a subtropical climate. In May, it smells deliciously of lavender because spring comes early in Provence. In summer, the temperature can rise quite a bit, up to 30 degrees. In winter, temperatures rarely fall below freezing. Typical of Provence, the wind is the Mistral. This cold wind comes suddenly from the Massif Central. In winter the wind is inclement and in summer it is a pleasant coolness….

Suitable for 2-6 people with 2 bedrooms. This is a kind of safari tent. Approximately 35 m2.
Mobile home
Suitable for 2-6 people with 2 or 3 bedrooms. Modern with air conditioning, dishwasher and oven/microwave. Approximately 40m2.
Gite
Suitable for 2-4 people with 1 bedroom and sofa bed in living room. Simple. Approximately 36 M2.
