The Paradise Peak is an Adults-Only Bed & Breakfast set in lush flowering gardens high above the island of St. Maarten. Away from everything yet centrally located between the towns of Grand Case, Marigot and the naturist-friendly Happy Bay beach, you can enjoy the tranquility of the mountain while being free to explore all that the island has to offer.
Enjoy complimentary breakfast each day and a sunset “Apéro” drink on the terrace. No problem. The owners work closely with Delifood Island Sxm, an easy-to-use food delivery service that brings a range of cuisines home to The Paradise Peak.
Garden Rooms, These east-facing rooms are tucked among fruit trees and overlook the sunrise rising through the mountains. These rooms have a private entrance.
Pool Rooms, The pool rooms overlook the sunset and the island below. Choose between 2 spacious and stylish rooms with large, spa-like bathrooms. These rooms are close to the communal pool/jacuzzi deck.
Terrace Rooms, When it comes to Terrace Rooms, it’s all about the view. These rooms benefit from an outdoor living space with stunning views of the mountain range, surrounding greenery of the island below.
Villa Paradis, PLEASE NOTE: HOTEL SERVICES ARE NOT INCLUDED. All occupants of the villa must be over 12 years of age. Children are also not accepted at this villa.
The villa offers some of the most amazing views of St. Petersburg. Martin. Wake up every morning to panoramic views of both sides of the island, Anguilla and even Saba. Walk through a tropical garden in search of a ripe mango or papaya for your breakfast, relax by the private heated pool and be dazzled by a guaranteed sunset every evening.
The villa is spread over two levels and provides plenty of space and privacy, making it perfect for groups of friends and couples. The upper floor features two bright and airy bedrooms with modern bathrooms, a very comfortable living room and a fully equipped kitchen. The first floor is a self-contained apartment-style bedroom with its own bar, a large luxurious bathroom, a small kitchen and even a cinema room!
The Perch, Please note that The Perch is a separate property from the hotel and therefore hotel amenities are not included.

Plane:
To St. Maarten is flown directly by KLM from Amsterdam on Sundays and Fridays. KLM has the option of flying economy class or business class. The direct flight takes about 8 hours and 40 minutes.
Rental car:
We recommend a rental car to explore the island on your own, or like to go to the nude beach, you can book a rental car through us. We broker for Sunny Cars & Flexible Cars which has the best insurance in addition to good cars.

st. St. Maarten is the largest island of the Windward Islands but consists of 2 parts; the Dutch part approx. 34 km2 in size and the French part of approx. 65 km2 in size. The border between the French and Dutch sections is marked with welcome signs.
On this island, 2 peoples with very different characteristics, laws and customs live side by side.
Time difference:
It is 5 hours earlier on St. Maarten than in the Netherlands; when we have daylight saving time it is 6 hours.
Language:
The language of communication on the island is English. On the French part, French is still spoken but with a Caribbean accent. Dutch is hardly spoken anymore.
Currency:
The Antillean guilder is the official currency of the island, it can also be paid with the U.S. dollar, credit card such as visa or mastercard. On the French part, the Euro is also accepted as a means of payment. Withdrawing money; using a debit or credit card is possible at most banks.
Climate:
In the Windward Islands, the weather is actually always nice. The sun always shines, the average temperature is 27 ºC, and a constant trade wind blows. Average precipitation is 1,000 millimeters per year. A rainstorm lasts a short time, but is usually intense. On the Atlantic side, the waves are rougher and the winds are stronger than on the Caribbean side. In July and August, it can be oppressively hot. The water averages about 26 ºC. The hurricane season is from June 1 to November 1.
